The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is Coming

Every year during the summer our Nation's Capitol hosts the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The festival celebrates and promotes the many authentic, diverse, and living traditions that exist in our World today with a two week celebration that is free to the public.

This year's Smithsonian Folklife Festival hours are 11:00am to 5:30pm and runs from June 26 to July 7 features the following programs; Hungarian Heritage: Roots to Revival, One World, Many Voices: Endangered Languages and Cultural Heritage, and The Will to Adorn: African American Diversity, Style, and Identity.
