This beautiful blue and grey glass ball commemorates the end of the American Civil War. Although most people take a dim view of war in general, several very positive accomplishments came from this necessary endeavor, the two most notable being the abolition of slavery and the ending of the idea that states who wanted to be independent could secede from the Union.
Our Glass ornaments are free-blown by hand, (no clay mold is used) using century's old American craftsmanship while incorporating a near extinct art form. From the Blue Ridge Mountain glass blowers to your home, these are gorgeous as outdoor ornaments and are striking Christmas tree ornaments as well.
